Help

How to use the Cedar Ridge Airpark website. Sign in to see help for residents.

Signing in

There is no password. Choose Sign in at the top of any page, enter your email address and press Email me a sign-in link. The email that arrives has a 6-digit code and a button. Use either one:

  • The code: type it into the Code from the email box on the page where you asked to sign in, and press Sign in. You stay in the same tab.
  • The button: press it in the email, then press Continue on the page that opens. This opens the site in a new tab; it is the one to use if you read the email on a different device.

More to know:

  • The code and the button each work once and for one hour, and using one uses up the other. If it has expired, ask for a new one the same way.
  • Use the email address the board has on file for you. If no email arrives, check your spam folder, then ask the board to check the address in the directory.
  • You normally stay signed in on that device until you press Sign out.
  • Your email address at the top right opens a menu of your own things: My household, My dues, My requests, Votes and What's new (those your airpark uses). Your airpark may have put some of them elsewhere in the menu.
  • On a phone, press Menu at the top to open the menu. A drop-down such as More closes when you press anywhere else on the page.

Accounts are created by the board; you cannot sign yourself up. If you live here and have no account, use Contact the Board.

NOTAMs

Notices that are in effect now appear on the home page and under NOTAMs. That page also lists upcoming notices and those that expired in the last 90 days. Times are shown in the airpark's local time.

  • Standing notices have no end date: rules and cautions that always apply. They are listed on the NOTAMs page under their own heading. The home page usually only says how many there are, with a link to them.
  • A NOTAM that applies only by day or only by night says so, for example "Each day from sunrise to sunset" or "from dawn to dusk (civil twilight)", with today's times at the airfield. Such a NOTAM shows the dates it covers, not clock times.
  • A NOTAM may link to a document, such as the operating procedures. Press the link to open it in a new tab.

These are the airpark's own notices from the board. They do not replace an official preflight briefing.

Keeping up: the NOTAMs page checks for changes by itself every few minutes while it is open and shows when it last checked; press Refresh to check now. A NOTAM that is new or has changed since you last pressed Acknowledge is marked New or Updated, and a line at the top says how many, including any that are no longer in effect. Press Acknowledge once you have read them. It is remembered in the browser you are using, so it also works when you come back another day.

Airfield information and weather

The bar on the home page gives the airfield's identifier, CTAF, weather frequency, Flight Service, runways and pattern, as the board entered them; some items are links to a web page or dial a number from a phone. If the board has chosen a weather station, the latest report from that station is shown beneath it: wind, visibility, sky, temperature and altimeter. It is a nearby station's report from the U.S. National Weather Service and is not for flight planning.

Documents

Documents lists the airpark's files by folder. Each folder shows how many documents it holds; press a folder to open it, or Open all folders to see everything. Folders inside a folder are listed within it. To find a file, start typing in the search box: the matches appear as you type, each with the folder it is in. The sort choice orders by title or newest first, and recently added documents are marked New. A document opens in a new tab, so the site stays open where you were. Visitors see public folders only; once you are signed in you also see the residents' folders.

What this site is and is not

This website is run by the airpark's community association (its board), using a service called Our Airpark. The board decides what is on it, who can see what, and what is sent from it. Questions about the airpark, your account or your records go to the board, through Contact the Board.

What it is not:

  • Not official flight information. NOTAMs, runway and airfield details on this site are posted by the board, and the weather comes from a nearby reporting station. They are not FAA NOTAMs and are not for flight planning or navigation: the pilot in command checks official sources before every flight.
  • Not legal, accounting or tax advice. Votes, meeting notices, requests, violations, dues and budget figures are the board's records. Following the governing documents and the law is the board's responsibility, not the website's.
  • Not a bank. Dues and budget figures show what the board has recorded; they are not bank statements.
